Today I found a great source for peach wood. A local peach farm (15min from my house) sells bundles for 5 dollars. Anyone use peach wood? What is your favorite meat to use peach on?
Ive been wanting to tryout peach wood. But i gotta do some research to see where i can get some. On a side note ive heard peach wood gives off a bitter taste.
I have used peach wood on all 4 comp meats, i really enjoyed it even on brisket! it gives an awesome smoke smell. I usually pair it with some pecan, at a 2:1 peach: pecan ratio.
