Default OK New Idea any help appreciated(smoker build)

Brethren,
I have recently been gifted a non working dryer. I think the drum is stainless steel. Any thoughts/threads here for guidance in using this to make Q? I have metal for frame and provisions for a firebox. Should I remove the drum and chuck the rest? Use the drum as it sits and insulate around it? Many possibilities I know.... I'd just like some ideas to start out

I would use the drum as a fire basket for the World's Biggest UDS.
