King City Showdown in Mt. Vernon, Il

Any Brethren heading to Mt. Vernon, Illinois this weekend for the King City BBQ? It's a great competition, last year was our first trip there. It's been raining in Illinois for the last two weeks so we are hoping for a dry weekend for once.

I'm itchin to cut my teeth on some comps, but I have a couple problems.
1. I don't have a team or even a partner.
2. I have trouble getting fridays off.

This is one I would definately do if those two problems would correct themselves.
Hopefully, I can get it together by Arthur in October

i'm going. my second kcbs. got an email from troy a week ago he is expecting40-50 teams.

Hey I could use help and a runner. Celtic Nation BBQ. Come on by after work. Your not that far from Mt Vernon. if your a night shifter come Sat. Could always use the help. Have a few and solve the worlds problems.

We'll be there! It'll be a nice anniversary...this was the very first KCBS contest I competed in...I'm now a 1 Year Old in the contest world. :)
