B&B’s Catering & Successful Contest Principles Class

February 18 and 19, Washington Missouri (St. Louis suburb).

Day 1:
I'll open my books and we'll talk about how my wife quit a good accounting job to run our successful BBQ Vending / Catering / Contest business. We will also discuss meal planning, recipe development, cost control, quoting, marketing, menu building, food preparation, food storage, timing, and transportation. If we do it, we'll talk about it. Then, we will serve a buffet for all to enjoy.

After dinner, we will discuss contest meat selection and prep, then we’ll load the pit and call it a day.

Day 2:
We will work a contest timeline and turn in our boxes on a KCBS schedule.

What is my credibility you ask?
Clear $1000+ a weekend Vending. Sell a solid 6 figures annually in catering. 2 GC's, 2 Reserves, and MANY category calls in 2011 with a FULL sponsor, 20th and 14th Overall at the AR Invite and Open this year. 13th in Team of Year Pork, Top 2% in the country for Brisket, Ribs and Chicken.
