Hot-n-Fast turkey breast w/Pron
I apologize for the fuzzy pics. They are from my phone. I was too lazy to look for the regular camera.
This was my first attempt at hot and fast turkey. I will never cook turkey breasts any other way from here on out. I didn't want to cook the whole thing, so I removed the breasts from the bone. I rubbed them down good with some Oakridge BBQ Gamebird Rub. Getting the UDS up to temp, while the rubbed breasts rest for a bit. I put them on when the UDS was good and steady at 325. After about 45 minutes: Once the internal temp hit 153, I glazed them with: 4 tablespoons Maple Syrup 3 tablespoons Pomegranate Molasses (you can substitute pomegranate juice mixed with molasses if you can't find it) 1/2 stick butter 1.5 tablespoons of rub Here they are all glazed up and sexy. I let them cook for another 20 minutes with the glaze. Pulled at internal temp of 162 and rested for 30 minutes. This was the juiciest turkey I've ever made. It was literally running everywhere. Great smoke flavor. The glaze gave them an almost candy coating, with a touch of heat. All in all, a very successful day. Thanks for looking! |

Very nice, try cooking chicken wings at 325 for about 45-1hr, will be the best wings you have ever cooked.
