I've tried a ton of different recipes for jerkey and a couple different dehydrators. the best thing I've found is your oven and a Hi Mountain kit. Now with low temps needed by the oven with the door cracked I would think I could do the same thing with the drum.
I've thought about getting a solid ring like a kettle grate. Was think I could use a metal clothes hanger and skewer them and let them hang that was I could do allot more.
whats your guys thoughts on this? lol is the metal froma coat hanger same to cook with? not that I'm not worried I've been roasting hot dogs and mash mellows for years with these.
