Default Turkey Score!!

Went to Superior Grocers to get some turkeys that I will be smoking for my clients. They had an ad that said your first two turkeys are $0.49/# and every turkey after that is $0.99/#. Well the cashier was busy fussing about her manager who she couldn't get to bring her some ones and she rang all of my turkeys up at $0.49/#. I got 5 turkeys ranging from 13-21lbs for $42.55.

They are thawing out now and they go into a brine first thing in the morning!!

Great score Mista. I picked up two a couple of weeks ago for 0.29 a pound. Each one was with a $25 purchase so I had to go through twice!!

Put 4 of the Turkeys in a brine this morning before work. They go on the smoker late tonight.
