Rookie UDS fire basket questions...
Hey All,
Quick and dumb. :) Does it matter if your expanded steel fire basket is rusty? Should I treat it like cast iron and oil it? Thanks, Bret

No problem, just knock off loose rust. You can use Pam cooking spray to oil it if you want.

I would just knock off what you can, it will look totally different after you do a preliminary burn on it before you cook.
