Lovely. You do realize that you have made all of the people debating foil vs. no foil, hot and fast vs. low and slow, and the other debates on ribs look very silly.

Love everything about this Jeanie!
When I raised my first two kids we went camping all the time. I still have all my camping gear. I'm much older now and I'm on round two with kids. They are 7, 11 and 12. This inspires me to start camping again. I have a firepit in the backyard and a piece of grate I can use to get a good distance from the fire for some good open pit cooking. Time to try some open pit at home!

Thank you Adams and Jeff!
I put hunks of ham or ham hocks, onions, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, a couple bay leaves, a pinch of basil, thyme, oregano (sometimes marjoram) and salt. Think that's all! Thanks Kloogee!

Really nice Jeanie. The relaxed feeling just comes through on your post. Camping is really fun, as long as you don't have to be in a crowded campground (which you don't). Look at the stars, the campfire. It's not all bad! :)
