CRocke and I are teaming up for this back to back event: Simply Rocke'N BBQ :clap2:

Contest #1 is on New Year's Eve and Contest#2 on New Year's Day!

This is going to be fun!

Looking forward to seeing you and Chris at what is likely to be one of the best barbeque New Year's Eve parties in the nation!

Chris, are you bringing the sides? The portions will probably need to be pretty small considering the tender age of the main dish.

Man, I would love to do this one...wonder if I could find a Backwoods to borrow:idea:

Really looking forward to this one!..we have the rookie lead by 9 points, just gotta finish strong now.

Talk to Thom Emery. I think he has every model of smoker made!!! :becky:

Good luck Joe.

I can't wait for this one. Wife wasn't too happy about missing her birthday for it but what does she want me to do? IT'S BUSINESS!!!

I'll have to make it up to her with the back to back GC winnings.:becky:

Bigmista's barbecue is in for this one. Gonna be a blast!

Scottie are you thinking about coming out to escape the cold? :becky:

My familia is pissed that ain't coming home again! I got snowed, then fog in two years ago and got a bad taste in my mouth about coming home in winter now!

With 10 or so apps in the mail.. By 12/15/10 this should easily be a 50-60 teamer 1st year event.. and the West Coast most important one..Year in and Year out-- always the Last and always the 1st event of the year for the KCBS..

Not much response from PNWBA land, KCBS TOY and Points race don't figure into our equation. Great looking turn out though, should be a New Years blast!

OK so I saw the wiki page with prize payouts... if there are going to be 50 teams or more at this one and entry fees are $250 to $285, where is all the money going on this? $700 for Grand and $300 for Reserve and only paying to 6th in each category?? Is this common out west?

Entry fee is $285 for one, $400 for both, that and pay out is why were are judging...Oh, and the fact that CBJ's hate our BBQ in CA!
