I think they are making mud pies. At least I hope it's mud.

My next door neighbor has an open wood deck on the back of his house; west side, no shade, no covered area and no place to store his grill other than just in the open. He keeps his grill in his garage on the front side of his house and rolls it out on the driveway when he grills. Gives him some shade on the east side of his house and storage for the grill. I'm always happy to see him out there with it fired up. Doesn't bother anyone in the neighborhood and I can't imagine anyone ever complaining.

Maybe by now the OP will have to admit, at least to himself, that he's the one living in weird neighborhoods.
Or maybe he's just trolling!

What ya'll got cooking in the driveway today?

I've got the GMG out front finishing off some butts for lunch with the neighbors since the weather is finally getting nice and afterwards getting the shovels and rakes out to fix the mess the snowplows made over winter for old folks in the neighborhood that aren't able.

~Were taking all of them lunch plates to, cause were just like that.

I always cook in the back, but I'm a little anti-social.

My neighbor cooks in the driveway, rolls his grill out of the garage. He has a really nice patio in the back, shaded by trees, etc. He just prefers it in the sun, I guess.
