congrats to all at the BBQ-BRETHREN, we have passed the 4000 member mark. I want to say that I am thankful for those who started this wonderful place. I am glad poobah and all the moderators take the time and effort to keep this up and running. It is a truly wonderful and greatly appreciated place to hang out and talk about bbq and other things as well.

Thank you.

Yup! It's a great place.

I wonder how many of the Original Brethren (OB) are still active on the list.

I'm going to petition Phil to become a Retroactive OB.

It's great to see excellence rewarded. The Brethren is a great forum and home to some wonderful people. It's nice to see that more and more people are finding out about the BBQ Brethren.

I just did a quick check and about 25 of us are still here and active, which is a pretty high percentage of the original members.

It is a great place, and I think the growth is a testimony to the quality ofthe membership.
I joined in July of 2005, and have the honor of being the 1000th member to join.

It has been and is lots of fun and very educational. Thanks to Poobah and all the others who make it so.
Long live the Brethren.

Sort the member list by Join date and look for the august-sept 2003 time frame. then look over at the last visit column. It will give u an idea of who is still around.

Old timer is a mixture of orphaned posts from several members whose IDS were lost when we migrated to some new forum software. They are mostly BRD1958(Brian), but some others mixed in.

Some interesting information. What happens when willkat passes Phil in total post count? This will happen sometime soon. I think he should get an award or something.

Na, I don't think it will happen.

I post mainly in Woodpile, so it don't add to the count much.

He actually already passed me about 7 months ago.

I've been taking most weekends off board.

Just too much to do lately.
