Question Clay Saucer for 22.5" WSM

Hi all

Was going to fill the saucer on my WSM with sand but I've found these for sale, cheap

Theyre about 14 inches in diameter....

Will that be big enough, after a rough measure I think I need something about 18" but would this suffice??

Would appreciate advice from WSM owners regarding this.

Cheers

Wrap your water pan in foil for easy cleaning, no need for anything else. I took a class from Harry Soo of Slap yo daddy BBQ and this is how he runs his wsm.

Nice.... Thanks.
I'm a big fan of Harry Soo. Would LOVE to take that class. Lucky!

Anyone who cooks with a WSM is a Harry Soo fan. :)
I use a 16", flat, clay flower pot base in my 22 1/2" WSM (a 12" one in my 18 1/2" WSM).
It has given me great results.
