What To Do With Overcooked Brisket Flat?

Winner Winner Beef Stroganoff dinner! Anyone recommend a recipe?

A little butter in a 3 inch deep skillet. Saute an onion and mushrooms for 5 minutes. Chopped garlic for a minute. Add pepper and some salt. Throw in 3 tablespoons of flour, mix in well for two minutes. Add chopped beef, Pour in 4 cups beef broth and bring to a boil ten minutes until thick. Remove from heat, add half a cup of sour cream or plain yogurt. Serve over noodles or rice or potato

Also, along with BBQ sauce and served, brisket sloppy joes, or empanadas are yummy:thumb:.

Pull it or chop it up and put it in some ABTs. The best choice is a combo of the good suggestions already made here.

Many good ideas here.

My first go to is put it in a pot of beans. Chop and sauce is next.

If it's really crumbly, you could try to rehydrate, then fry it and make some tacos.

Tacos, tamales, pizza, omelets, re-hydrate and make pulled beef sammiches. There are many different ways to utilize that leftover meat. No need to toss.

Just had it for supper-----Shepard's Pie !

Mrs Kapn makes several in serving sizes and freezes them.
Quick and easy re-heat for a great meal.

I make brisket egg rolls, which is essentially a chimichanga but an egg roll wrapper instead of a tortilla.
