Default Alto, Tx - serving free bbq to tornado victims

One of my banks had some damage so they decided to smoke some butts and serve pulled pork to the community. I finished my computer stuff and helped out. Been 3 hours and we've gone thru 6 butts.

That's awesome! Nice to see the place with all the $$$ giving back for a change. Plus, I never met a lineman that didn't love BBQ so the power will likely be on soon.

The bank owns the cooker. I'm just making sandwiches in between working. Another employee is cooking. I had no idea they were cooking.

Thanks for doing that. I believe that OBR is in Alto, working with the Salvation Army.

Paul, you are special to the BBQ Brethren as well as this community, Alto. Not to mention to your family.

That may actually happen some day at the rate we keep buying banks. I was in Grand Prairie a few weeks ago setting up a training room for a bank we bought. We do have regional facility techs and they usually get a van to use.

I wish I had known that sooner. I would have stopped by to see if they needed any help. I had a lot of down time.
