300 dollars
If you were given $300.00 to cover the food for a party of say 30 people what items would you buy/cook?
The 300.00 is NOT part of your fee or expenses.

If you are only serving entree and sides you can get some good stuff. If you need to do a salad or app along with that you will be in the chicken, pork category.

Is this a menu for the USA or the UK?
USA pork, chicken, smoked sausage with beans, slaw and potato salad. UK lamb, pork, chicken, smoked sausage with beans, slaw and potato salad. Cook NZ shoulder of lamb, the same as you'd cook pork shoulder, but with EVOO slather and garlic, rosemary and thyme in slits every inch to inch and a half, a sliver of garlic in one third of the slots, sprig of rosemary in one third, or the thyme etc. The difference is that for the most part, lamb in the USA is not a cheap meat like it is or can be in the UK.

It's just a (UK) BBQ outdoors (30 birthday party) before we head off for a night of binge drinking at a local pub.
I'm thinking brisket, moink, ABT's, corn cobs..? The host will be doing pasta and salad.
