Need some suggestions
I've been asked to help organize a backyard competition at a local farmers market in the beginning of October. I know it's not a lot of time, which is why I'm very open to suggestions. It will be held in conjunction with a car show. I've suggested a chicken and ribs format since it's only one day. If all goes well, I'm trying to get them to have a KCBS sanctioned event next year.

I am not sure if you want more categories, but you could add pork loin and sausage bring it up to four.

Stone Mountain Park in Georgia does the same competition for Father's Day. Its a car show and one day BBQ competition. You could probably Google their website and find a point of contact who could point you in the right direction.
