New Comp in Northern Indiana Sept 20th & 21st, State Champ hooked in with a Bluegrass Festival, the Venue will be in a shaded park with good electric & water many hookups all on pavement showers close by and all teams should be fairly close to turnins which is in a school gym which is where judging will be done as well, the purse will be 7000$ which is pretty good for a first year... the only event that requires a KCBS membership is the Sam's club events. The entry fee does not get you a membership either.

I think you will get some MI teams. This is past the MI bbq season, and I know a lot of teams look to extend their seasons a bit. If we could only get some in northern IN, IL, or anywhere in MI at the early part of the season....maybe April or May
