I was seriously considering this one but the no campers rule made me drop it. Still looks like a good event though, nice location, decent prize $$.

Hey Ted I was told by Vito last night you can bring your trailer as long is it fits on your space. The no Camper rule is for having a camper or RV seperate from your cooking site. There is limited parking and they don't want to fill the parking area with RV's. So I guess I'll see you in Maine right ?

But for the record: This below is from the Maine cook's packet. I seriously hope Vito double checks this with the organizers because I do not want to get up there and be turned around at the gate. Sounds like they really don't want campers....no mention of saving parking lots either. campers and trailers: NO CAMPERS OR TRAILERS ALLOWED, DUE TO LACK OF DISPOSAL FACILITIES. Campsites are available around the event location at other campgrounds. Contact us for more information. no camping trailers or motor homes allowed: Camping trailers and motor homes are not allowed on the festival grounds or in the parking lot. Registered competitors will receive a packet containing helpful area information, including a list of local hotels and campgrounds.
