I know the rules...no pics it did not happen but I still hav eno camera and as I approach a year unemployed, one is not in my immediate future. So I guess I dreamed this but it was a might tasty dream. A local store had turkey breasts on sales a couple of months back. I bought about 4. Finally got around to smoking one this week. Brined it over night. Saoked it about an hour and changed the ater three times. Dried it off and let it air dry a little bit. Rubbed it down with some vegetable oil. Put it in the smoker at 230-40. I used maple wood. About hours later, out came a glorious mahogany colored turkey breast with a wonderful moist, smokey flavor and skin you could actually eat, not chewy. The skin did not stay that was as it got rubbery when the leftovers were packed away. But it still was one of the best turkeys I have ever smoked.

I am prepared for the no pic comments so please sir may I have some more....

Well it reads like a very successful cook.. congrats !!

Maybe you can use the keyboard in Microsoft Word to depict the turkey on the cooker ??
