Default PePPers + PorkchoPs + Potatoes (PhotoPhilled)

left work yesterday early, fed uP with the bee-ess Politics that constantly takes Place.
the second i stePPed outside, my attitude changed like a switch was fliPPed.
Probably cuz i knew exactly what i was gonna do.
go home to smoke/grill/cook some hot-daggum-liP-smackin' grub!
Started with these...

yup, jalaPeno PePPers. stuffedum with this stuff creme cheese, shredded cheese, honey and garlic + onion Powders

then got out the baaacon

stuffed...

...and wraPPed

then seasoned with this and on the kettle/smoker for 90 minutes at 225-250'F (used aPPle + cherry wood for smoke)

fancy store-bought PePPers holders work very well, butt don't laugh at the egg cartons.
the PaPer cartons soak uP the grease the bacon emits. controls flare-uPs when cookin' over heat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
while those babes were brewin', i went back indoors to Play with Potatoes... cut the sPuds...
soak in water...
then after a bad rerun of this, the taters were dried, rested then PrePPed for the oven.
meanwhile, a very favourite word in my dictionary i checked on the PePPers...
yeah, they're fine.
ok, one more look before they make room for some PorkchoPs
removed the smokerPlate from ol'Red, added a few more Stubb's coals and added the choPs.
the Hasselbacks are lookin' fine...
buttered every 20 minutes
the PorkchoPs also...
cast iron Panned the PePPers...
the majority of those Pretty PePPers will be taken to work for the same PeoPle with Political Problems that PurPosely irritate me.
now, to end this PerPetual Post.... Plated Photos.
ya gotta check out these Potatoes...
I do believe these are the best Hasselback Potatoes I've Produced
I do thank ALL of you for your divided attention...and thanks for swingin' by
Everything looks tasty! I like the way the taters were prepped and cooked.
Great looking cook, as always! Like the use of the egg cartons for the poppers, I have one of the nice chile grills but have not been able to locate it for some time. Might have to switch to egg cartons for awhile.
