Default UDSparts.com Ugly Drum Smoker Video

What's up everyone! I've been toying around with making cooking videos and putting them on youtube. I am most definitely not a videographer and hate talking to a camera, but I thought what the hell? Why not give it a try?

Anyway, I do have several different cookers and would love to spread what little knowledge I have of cooking to someone just starting out. This forum has taught me everything I needed to get started and this is my attempt to give something back.

Go easy on me, but here is my second video. I have a lot to learn but it's all for fun!

The video is good and very informative. Some remarks:
Try to sound more excited about what you're doing.
Try a higher camera angle so we can see your face when you're talking. Not your pants.
Sound in the foiling phase is too loud.
Maybe give a short summery at the beginning so people know what their going to watch.

You're on the way. Keep going! Hope this helps.

I really appreciate the feedback. Talking to a camera is definately something I'm not comfortable with just yet, but it is getting easier. Hopefully I will relax a little the more videos I put out.

As for the camera angle, I have asked Santa for a larger tripod and a wide angle lense : )

I like the idea of a summary in the beginning. I will definately do something along those lines in my next video.

Again, huge thanks for the feedback! This is why this forum is the best!

Nice video jrob!

I like the recap at the end. One other thing I liked is that you did not say "guys". I hate the videos where the presenter says guys like 500 times. I can't watch that. Check out Sam the Cooking Guy. I find him very entertaining to watch. But that's just me.

Good work. I am looking forward to your next one.
