Seared Wagyu Eye Fillet with Japanese Mushrooms

Decided to sear another piece of Wagyu Beef fillet.
Seared it for 2 minutes either side at around 360-380C. Then let it rest for about 6 minutes in which time I cooked up some Japanese mushrooms in butter, EVOO, lemon rind and dill.

Just gotta say you can't beat a cast iron grill!!!!!! :twisted:

Us Aussies lick the plate because most of Australia is in drought .
We do our bit to help the environment.
That steak plate deserves to be licked by the communal group.

That looks amazing...nice job. Where do you get Wagyu beef? Can't get any around here. I would love to try it.
I'm in Australia and can get the stuff they export to Japan for a relatively cheap price for Wagyu. If you can find some I would recommend trying it.
