Just an estimate but a year in a Deep Freezer when wrapped correctly to prevent freezer burn and a couple months in a standard Refrigerator/Freezer

Like just vac sealed is fine it will hold in a deep freezer or regular one for awhile a year or maybe longer, without any tears of course. Then again if it was previously frozen then thawed I'm not in, I will only freeze un frozen meat along with probably most folks here, you'll start seeing green chit grow on it if you keep thawing and freezing meat. Vac sealers are a great thing, get to know your butcher:) thx for the heads up about the sale!

I rarely ever see any Pork Roasts that were not previously frozen before going into the meat case.

I agree. if it is vacuum sealed, so there is no air around the meat, you can freeze it for several months. I do it all the time.
