Default YUK!!! Left over Pork

Last night I smoked two pork butts (sorry no pics) but I've been practicing, kind of messing around with rubs trying to find a taste I like. Well today I put some pulled pork in a bowl, poured some apple juice over it and heated in the microwave, YUK! YUK! YUK! I will mix with BBQ sauce next time I eat left over pork.

I just use a sprinkle of juice when needed. Or mix in a little Head Country.

For leftovers, I chop an onion fine and saute it until it just begins to turn translucent, I put what I'm gonna eat in the skillet, add enough sauce just to get the meat wet, not too much, and stir it around until it's heated through. I could eat it right out of the fridge on a piece of loaf bread with a little mayo and a slice of cheese as well. I love the stuff. It always tastes as good the next day for me.

Little Rudy's Sause is what I'll typically put on leftovers.

Maybe the microwave ruined it, don't know but I've read a lot of post about adding apple Juice, it's not for me. BBQ sauce for sure.

I usually put it in a pot with a little water and sauce. Water moistens it up a little.

My favorite way to eat leftover pulled pork is to nuke it with Blues Hog Tennessee Red sauce.

Pulled pork isn't meant to be eaten by itself. Top it with North Carolina slaw (spicy vinegar based slaw) or put some BBQ sauce on it. We'll get you dialed in.

Or, send me all of your leftovers. I will dispose of them properly...

+1 not too much water, or sauce and it heats up really well...
