I have been wanting to get on the GrillGrate bandwagon for awhile but just recently finally got myself a set!!! Still have a lot to learn but they have been a lot of fun so far!!! So with two cooks under my belt, this is what I have came up with!!!

Nice grill marks, but they look like they would be a lot of work to clean.

Not too bad, I just flip the grates when I’m done and let the fire do some work on them. I also scrapes them off real good before every flip and turn to allow the grates to really do their job on the hatch marks!!!

What are they made of? They kinda look non stick.

Thanks for sharing. I've heard nothing but great things about these grates. Glad to hear from practical use that they are amazing. Excited to here/see more cooks on them.

They make great grill marks and dont rust, but I thinks thats all they do. I think a nice stainless rack is better. I tossed my grill grates in the scrap pile.

I’ve had GG’s for years. Love em’ for semi-direct chicken cooks running around 400° dome temp. Perfect skin with perfect bits of char AND no flare ups. I also like them for burgers. They also make for a fantastic griddle surface for smash burgers when flipped. Other than that, I never use them. I do not care for steak cooked on GG’s (at least not face up on top of the rails). Yes, they turn out beautiful hatch marks... but steak cooks are typically really hot cooks, and to me, the cross hatch marks are nothing more than burnt meat. Bitter and icky. Just my experience and opinion :)

Thanks, I plan on playing with them quite a bit and see what other fun stuff I can come up with!!! The no flare ups is probably what I like the best about them!!!
