Wink Smoked Pot Roast

Yeah smoked pot roast for dinner. I wanted something different but a guaranteed tasty meal.
So smoked chuck roast and rubbed with Smokin' Hoggz rub. That stuff is the chit.
Used Hickory and Apple wood chunks. Used Embers Charcoal Briquettes.
Cooked on my 270 Smokers Sumo. Still not happy with the paint flaw but its pretty hard if not impossible to beat how this thing cooks.

I like pot roast.I have eaten several pot roasts that taste better than some briskets I have been served.I actually like all the veggies cooked with the roast except be potatoes.I prefer mashed potatoes served with pot roast.

Looks great.

Started doing them (partially) on the smoker for 3 -4 hours then finishing in an instant pot to get it just falling apart tender.

I'll catch grief, but I'd rather have it than brisket most days.
