Anyone up for a 2019 Spring Carolina Bash? - Page 4

I'm trying to coordinate a few things, teaming this up with both Spring break and a return trip to Tennessee to check out areas to retire.

Maybe I'll just happen to expand the search into the Carolina's on the same weekend as your bash

Bill, unless you have family or some other reason to lock in on TN, please check out Upper SC. I've been here 48 years and now retired. This is a great place. Look at the retirement magazines. They rank Greenville very high. Lots of enterainment, sight seeing and a really good tax rate and cost of living, homes, etc.

Would love to have you and the Mrs. here. Joe

Lucky for you... Camping at the Marriott Courtyard is only about 25 minutes away in Gastonia.

OK. So far the location for the SC Bash is Kings Mountain State Park and the date is April 6th?

I will make the reservation tomorrow for the covered shelter. Once I get the shelter reservation I will post up that we are GTG!

OK everyone! It is official! The 2019 Carolina Bash will be held APRIL 6th at KINGS MOUNTAIN STATE PARK at Covered Shelter#1. The shelter has been reserved for us! It is near the road and parking spaces are close. Appears to have a bath room directly across the road from it. There is a 2 dollar cost to enter the park fyi. Hope to see everyone there!

Great. We do our vacation bidding ( based on seniority) soon and that week will be my first request. I will plan to be there regardless, but getting the entire week will be sweeter.

Nice man! Can't wait to see you there! We are camping in site 90 Thursday through Sunday. If anyone is considering camping I found a nice video on YouTube showing all their sties. Pretty neat, was able to see a large fairly level pull through site. Wish more places had these videos.
