Spray the inside of the cylinder and lightly inside the lid with store brand vegetable oil spray, burn with your choice of charcoal until it stops smoking, then cook something on it. Congrats on the great score!

Forget all the advice to spray oil on it to season it.
It's porcelain! Seasoning is a waste of time, oil, and charcoal.
Get a fire started, cook yourself a couple of fatties.
