First spares on the kettle
Wow, most work I've had to do so far to maintain temp! I think I ended up with too much coal, and since I blocked off the open area of the bottom with bricks, the ash would hinder my airflow. They came really good even with the rollercoaster temps.

Looks good to me. You have to catch the temperature on its way up using the bottom vents.

Cook time for anyone interested was 4 hours 15 min, I did 30 mins in foil at the end, followed by 15 back out and glazed. Average temp was around 270, but it spent some time around 240, and some above 300, lol.
