Thanks Julie! But the debate has been settled, the SuperFast Blue Thermopen is the Fastest and most accurate! (besides, with all my Red cookers, I'd never be able to find it!)

My wife got to help me skewer some of the Kabobs the day of, the Chicken parts were all done the day before and just marinated and the butts just before hittin' the WSM's. I should have taken the house cooks advice and gotten the frozen skewered Shrimp. I was doing alright timewise with the meats, the packing up and traffic killed me!

I have been looking for some good shrimp recipes. Are you willing to share?
We've had a couple cooks for @35-40 of the kids that stay at the Frat during Summer quarter and the house cook takes it off, so they have had a taste of my Q before. It was they that needled my son to get me to cook, and they were very apreciative and I got a lot of props, so it felt good, but I sure wouldn't want to do it for a living!

I used some quick marinades, Sesame Ginger and Caribeaan Jerk, then found a Key Lime Cilantro i jazzed up with Italian dressing. Most of the recipes I found call for short time marinating.
