Default 4th of July Cookout

It will soon be time to start cooking for the 5th annual neighborhood 4th of July cookout. The menu includes, one brisket, 10 boston butts , some portions of 40lbs of chicken.

The pre-party will start with buffalo chicken for tonight. Followed by butt rubbing and the smoke will start around midnight to 1AM. The crowd is supposed to be showing up early tomorrow afternoon.

I will post PRON later.

Sounds like a great plan.

We will be doing a shrimp boil for my #2 son's birthday on Saturday. Monday, momma works but I'm off so I'll grill burgers and dogs. I may pick up 35 or so pounds of butts to cook for an upcoming wedding reception. Cook, pull, weigh, and vacuum pack to freeze for delivery closer to 7/16/11. :D

Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable 4th!
