After dealing with two monster snowstorms and shoveling chit for days... was too tired to spend a day smokin'.

The Mrs. did a batch of her family's favorite... a "4 cheese" mac and cheese. She asked me what she could do to zest it up. It was smooth, creamy, slightly sweet, and missing something.

I was thinking a little lemon herb and pepper .... then it hits me..... Rub!!!!

Grabbed a pinch of Plowboy's Bovine Bold and mixed it into a small bowl to sample. Wow... it was a great addition.

Changed it up with a little Yardbird. He he he he.

Had two bigger bowls full. Belly is hurting... but I'm smiling!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Good stuff!
 
I'll have to give it try. I usually go with jalapeno hot sauce, but rub sounds good too.
 
Sounds tasty, I was looking at DivaQ's mac and cheese, thinking I haven't made any in a while. But her recipe calls for a cheese from Quebec. I do have Plowboy's already.

Maybe both...hmmmm
