Default Wood exchange

I have 2 boxes of wild cherry wood chunks for exchange

Box 1 is 20"x12"x9" and weighs approximately 24 lbs

Box 2 is 12"x18"x7" and weighs approximately 20 lbs

I am specifically looking for Orange wood for one box exchange, but for the second box I am open to something else. I want something I cannot get around here or do not have access to.
I have plenty of Oak, Hickory, Apple, Cherry. I even have some pecan.

So, let me know if you are interested in exchanging a box of wood chunks of similar size and weight.

Thanks
Gary

You might want to check out the USPS $12.95 flat-rate box which is nearly the same size as your second box and can hold up to 20 lbs. It will save quite a bit on shipping.

I need to find someone with some post oak that needs some Vermont sugar maple.

Hummm, never even occurred to me that it would be a problem. Thanks for the head's up.

I was hoping to smoke this years thanksgiving turkey with orange... I use a brine that has apple cider or juice and oranges in it and would probably stuff the cavity with some orange slices ... so I thought I'd try to smoke it with orange wood to complete the theme.... but, don't too many orange trees grow in Virginia

Gary - I'm in the thick of citrus country, but don't have any trees myself.

I'll look around - it should be easy to find some, and when I do, if you're still looking for some I'd be glad to do the exchange.

Thanks Gary. That sounds really good. I'm cutting down a Tangerine this weekend and trimming a Minneola (tangerine/orange aka Tangelo...not to be confused with tan jello from my last thread.) Won't be seasoned in time. Thanks for the info.

If milehigh behaves himself and stops perfuming his wood with carb cleaner, I'll bring up a couple of chunks this summer...

I would still be interested in the Grape vines if you are interested in the cherry. Just let me know if you are interested.

THanks
