Default Some Tamales

I used some of the spicy Zaaschila chipotle cremosa smoked pork to make a batch of tamales...

http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=71434

I soaked my husks overnight...

cooked some onions, jalapenos and garlic til tender then added some of the Zaaschila chipotle smoked pork butt.
Also added a bit of chili sauce.

not the neatest job. :)

I steamed them for about 45 minutes...

They were tasty!

I had enough to last all weekend. lol

Thank you for checking out my weekend tamales. :)

Ross...thank you!
Ken, it is I who bows to your smoking prowess.
Todd, that sounds great. I do wish I had a Mexican beer to go with these. Thanks!
Paul, if you drive, I might have to make another batch. (and could you pick up some mexican beer on the way?) lol
Good idea Michael. Thanks!
