Costco CAB Prime brisket--SoCal brethren step in..

Wow! Which store? Just at Burbank store 3 days ago and they were still 2.69.

Passing through Pacoima so I thought I would swing by the warehouse there. I know someone other than me also saw them at 6.99 as well in another warehouse. I think Burbank still has them at 2.69. Go figure.

Marina and either Hawthorne or Torrance are on the same buyer according to one of the butchers so I don't expect them here. Going to make a van Nuys burbank run today if I can and keep you posted

These will sit(age) until their marked down

Holy cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the Prime briskies were becoming popular here but they cost as much as Prime Rib now. From 2.69/lb to 6.99/lb??

I get Wagyu briskets at that price

Told you they were 6.99, atleast what i saw in Burbank

No kidding bro. So it was you that saw it for 6.99. Westy was at Burbank 3 days ago and he said they were 2.69. Im officially confused now. Im starting to think maybe some butchers are confusing their cuts of meat?

If you end up at the Burbank store check it again. Vwiz said he saw it for 6.99 in Burbank but way before 3 days though.

I definitely saw them at burbank for prime @ 2.69. I remember because I noticed that the flats seemed to be cut a bit shorter than the others I have bought there. Not too much, just a few inches. Not sure exactly which day, but between 3 and 5 days max before my post. Just left there tonight about 8:30 and didn't see any at all. I did not ask to see if they had them in back though. They might be using the space for things that are more of a priority due to Thanksgiving.

I stopped in at Van Nuys costco today and they had a few whole packers running around 90-100$ each so Obviously passed on them, but on the lighter side they were blowing out the whole fresh foster farms turkeys I think it was for 49,cents a pound so I left with a few of them so not a total loss. :)

No briskets of any kind at the Culver City Costco this weekend. And no bone-in prime grade ribeye roasts either. :mmph:

I may be right. Went back to do some shopping at the Pacoima location again and sure enough they have them priced at $2.69 and NOT $6.99.

Sux here for us in NJ we only have brisket flats in our costco..i dont know where can i get a whole brisket like that?and for that $2.69/lb too!

Just bought a prime brisket from Costco in Houston (on Richmond) for $2.69. I think the Choice was $2.29.

Costco is further upping it's game. Found this in the meat case today along with several Wagyu sirloin roasts. At $19.99 per pound, I think I'll sit this one out.
