Default Lamb leg on da PBC

First Leg of lamb so props to those who came before cuz I read lots of old threads. Seasons with salt, pepper, some yardbird and stuffed it full of garlic and rosemary. Set in fridge for around 4 hours while we went to see the new Star Wars flick

On now with some lump and cherrywood. I don't check temps much but by the feel I would say it's cranking along at near 300.

Bout an hour and 2 beers in...we are at 106IT. Will probably target 135-140 since the wifey is not a fan of over rare meats.

Looks good so far. Hey BTW I learned my lesson long ago not to stud with raw garlic....partially cook it first. Garlic is incredibly overpowering raw

Finished up and since the kids aren't huge lamb fans I cooked a pie on the PBC......plenty OD fuel left so just took out the rods and let it roll...no pics of cook...sorry

And my plate...cheesy mashed taters (Gorgonzola) with sour cream n garlic as a side...don't judge me!
