Default Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon. Pron

Last nights dinner. Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon.

I found the salmon recipe using the search, that "Sooner21" had posted on The Brethren.

Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the salmon and put it on skin side down. After 15 minutes brush some of this dressing on it and again at about 20 minutes. It's done right at 25 minutes and it's farkin great!
Dressing recipe:
2 TBS fresh lime juice
2 TBS rice vinegar
2 TBS dijon
2 TBS honey
2 TBS minced fresh chives
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Put everything in a blender or food processor except the oil and mix until well blended. After that's all blended and with the blender still running pour in the olive oil until smooth. It only takes about 10 minutes to make and it's my go to salmon sauce.

I don't get the second pic: the one with the orange slices between the salmon and the plank. What's that about?

Salmon looks great! Any problems with leftover fishy smell in the keg?

Did no have any left over smell. Used the hot coals to burn off some UDS grates. Nothing survived after that.
