I just wanted to share a picture of my hard day at work. I wish I could be here every day. As you guys may know I also work as a Police Officer. My first love is BBQ!

It is 40 Degrees here today in the Baltimore Area so I fired up a Kamado Joe. :-D

those thighs look great, looks like you were working on your competition cooking. I still wish i'd have gotten the red KJ, they are so cool, however I couldn't be happier with the way the black one cooks. I'd almost work for free part time to get to cook and tell people about KJ's.

Do you want a job? :-D
We had a great day today. The KJ brought in a bunch of people. I love spending the day getting to talk to people about BBQ.

Hey 5-0, how are you doing your whole bird on the KJ? I am going to do one today and was thinking of trying out the roasting setting with the diffuser in the top position as opposed to the lower one. Haven't messed with it like that yet but it's all fun to goof around with.

I didnt use the diffuser. Next time I will give it a try. I was in a hurry opening the store and we had customers so I just put some rub on on tossed it on. Even without using the diffuser it was very moist and tasted great.

Next time I want to try the diffuser. That is one accessory I never use with my Primo XL but I think it is needed with the KJ.
