My niece and her husband have been in Saudi Arabia for a year and have had NO PORK!!! They are flying in the week and want Pulled Pork that is no problem. But I want to surprise them with some kind of porkified heaven of an appetizer. Any Ideas???

Thanks in advance

ABT's do pretty good around here, never had any leftovers.

If you're going for something fancy and splashy the first thing that comes to mind is a braided greek tenderloin but not really an appetizer. What about something like grilled moo shu and let everyone make their own mini pancakes?

I change my vote to fatty or pig shots. I'm also leaving early for lunch.

Pig shots are definitely porkified IMO. You could always smoke a fatty and crumble it up into your cream cheese mixture just to fortify the porkify. That's pork 3 ways in one bite. :thumb:

When we want pig I do my Tri Pig Delight. I take a brined pork tenderloin, stuffed with pork sausage and wrapped in bacon. Then dry rub and grill or smoke to about 147 after I glaze with a sweet glaze with just a touch of heat. You can't get much more pork than that!!

Did a fatty last year when they were home. I'm leaning towards pork shots!

Baby Back ribs are a great appetizer. True baby backs, Not just loin backs
