[FONT=&quot]The Tatonka Dust seasoning has an incredible flavor that goes excellent with fish. Seasoned the perch fillets with Tatonka Dust seasoning, then coated the perch fillets in flour, then egg, and then a 50/50 mixture of bread crumb and panko. Gently set coated fish into hot oil and fry 5 minutes on each side until medium golden brown in color. For the frying we used our Big Green Egg running 325º and had the hot oil on a cast iron pan for frying.

Haven't had perch since I was a kid. Me and my friends used to go catch a mess and fry them up. Thanks for posting this!

Marty that looks great! I've used Tatonka on salmon and loved it. Will try it on other fish too. Thanks for the post!

That looks excellent Marty! I'm itching to wet a line now. :thumb:

looks great.

haven't had perch for a few years.
used to go out with a buddy ( who passed away last year ) on one of the local lakes; and he would get a bucket full and fry em up that way .
without the rub, though.

Anybody use raging river from dizzy pig ?
I haven't tried it yet.

they advertise it for salmon.

as of 3 weeks ago, the ice was still 30 inches thick on the lake near
me. think it was a cold up here? it's warming up, but no fishing
( by boat ) yet.

Mossy, were you ice fishing ? or surfing the super market ?
