The local paper always has interesting ideas
Wildflowers are in bloom now
The Palm Springs Tram is fun But you have seen snow and mountains before
The Living Desert in Palm Desert is well done
Casinos seem popular I do not go there
I will PM my number to you

The traffic is a bear
It is a matter of timing the trip to avoid it

+1 on The Living Desert. I haven't been there in a long time but I remember being really impressed by it. There's also Desert Hot Springs if you feel like sitting in hot water (it ain't too bad actually). I don't know any specific places for that but I could try to find out if you want.

+1 on timing a drive to L.A. to avoid traffic as well. I don't know the Palm Springs area all that well, but if you're coming L.A. way PM me & you can pick what's left of my brain about what there is to do around here.

Duh...I didn't think about the traffic...been a while since I was in LA. A drive through the desert to check out the wildflowers sounds pretty cool too!
