my issues are somewhat simular. i like kbb for high heat grilling but for low and slow i have an issue. I have seen so many videos from people saying they love kbb and they win comps and stuff with it but i dont know how cuz it really smells like a dirty urnal when it is being lit. lump, no matter how much white smoke i get never ever smelled like kbb does. lump just smells better. Still a great price though for us grillers. I still have a few bags left from 4 years ago from the coupon that lasted the whole year. haha. i printed it off 31 times and baought like 150 bags of kingford hahaha. This was before i was married and still at my parents. told them it was for food storage incase of emergencies, we would have fuel and heat. haha. We did use some of it for a big power outage haha

Thanks for the heads up.... I can't believe 200 lbs for $42.00 !!!! I usually don't use briquettes, but .21 a pound is a good deal...., I just placed and order in my name and one in my wife's name as well.

200 Lb Kingsford for $41.96

Lowe's offers 10 20-lb. Bags of Kingsford Charcoal Briquettes for $51.96. (Add five 2-packs to your cart to see this price).
Enter Coupon code "470000RRRR2997R" drops it to $41.96. Opt for free in-store pickup to avoid the $79 shipping charge. At $4.20/bag, that's a buck under last week's per bag mention and easily the lowest per bag price we've seen.
