Babbling Farker
Hey all, just an update from my earlier post about Lump charcoal. These turned out quite good, would certainly try them again.
I won't bore you with the pics of the process. I just made a simple sage dressing, rolled it into the thighs, seasoned three with Plowboys Yardbird and Three with Tasty Licks Savory Poultry, wrapped them all in bacon;
After about an hour and a half on the kettle at around 300-325;
Off the grill and plated;
Plated with some fried taters and teragon green beans;
Close-up;
Came out very good! I liked them with both rubs, didn't really favor one over the other in this instance.
