BBQ contest, the south, and football

A heads up for any in the AL area (Birmingham, AL). Oct. 2 the U Of Memphis will be playing U of AL Birmingham (UAB). The game is known as the Battle of the Bones. In conjuction there will be a BBQ contest. Ribs only contest with a side competention for sauce. The rules are loosly based on KCBS rules. The prizes, the small entry fee, and the free entry into MIM are why I'm posting this.

1st $1500, trophy, and free entry into Memphis In May 2009
2nd $500, trophy
3rd $250, trophy

Entry fee is $100 (early bird prior to 9/15 $75)

I thought anyone in the area might be interested. If you do enter please choose Memphis (i will supply u a flag) as your team (unless you somehow graduated from UAB and I feel sorry for you)
