I camp at that Lake every year, just before Christmas, although we camp at Ilse DuBois park on the South side of the lake.

I should be able to make that, and might even camp. If I come, I can bring a 18.5 WSM and a Jumbo Joe, and probably a mini-WSM.

So that means You Are In?? What Meat n Side?

Whoa, let me make sure I can make it.

BTW, some people will not be able to bring a cooker. We will probably need extra cookers.

If needed, I have a OTG that could be used. Not sure if it will fit in the SUV though with the fam and the other gear, so it might need a pickup on the way to the park.

Oh and bring a small fire extinguisher if ya got one . I have one I keep near my Grills and Smokers at all times that I'll bring.

I will bring the one I keep in the fast car...

Y'all do know that's Opening Day (deer hunting).

(However i've been hunting Arkansas or Tennessee the last few years so no problem for me.)

Have a tentative li'l confict that morning but can definitely get by later in the afternoon. Gonna work on sweet-talking Mrs. Frognot to get outta that morning thing.

Thanks Smitty for getting this rolling. If you're a beer (or bourbon) drinker i'll bring something i bet you'll like.

Now, it's just been 9 years . . .

Cost of deer leases is the reason i've been hunting in Arkansas & Tennessee. It's the friends & family plan.

9 years, 10 years...it ain't your anniversary, rounding is allowed ;) :loco:

Smitty, even if it's just our families there, it won't be all bad. More food for us ;)

5 weeks off....We'll get some Folk - We need a Fatty Specialist, atleast, to show.......

My son has my WSM and my Egg doesn't travel well but can bring a OTG. Thinking about doing chili and some MOINK balls and some smoked and/or Cajun sausage. Bet i talk my wife into whipping up some brownies (she does some really tasty brownies).

I was hoping someone would be doing some MOINKs!

5 weeks is PLENTY of Time to build an UDS!!!!!!!! :heh:

Jeannie and I will be there!
We'll drive down that morning (180 miles) and head back in the afternoon. I can do Moinks if nobody else does. Just need to use a cooker!
