"Leftovers"

I sent this out a couple days ago, but it hasn't been posted. I figure this is a DIY subforum now, and I need to pay some dues anyway, so here goes:

The idea for this Throwdown is "Leftovers." I'm not going to give you any more information or hints other than to say that there should be some suggestion of "Leftovers" in your entry -- you can interpret that any way you like.

Special rules: I'm not fond of special rules. Call it anarchy (or democracy), but I'm abolishing Rule 10: No DQs. This is an old-fashioned TD: Let the Voters Decide!

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 11/25 through Sunday 12/4.

Entry pictures must be submitted by Midnight Central US Time on Sunday night 12/4.

By submitting entry photos to this Throwdown thread you are agreeing that you have read and understand the Throwdown Rules.

The voting will begin Monday 12/5 after the "Vote" thread is submitted and will run through Saturday 12/10 (assuming I'm not posting these threads too). All votes will be public.

Don't forget, you can still enter the Having Bigabyte for Dinner Throwdown until Sunday night 11/27 by midnight Central time.

Our next category will be decided by the winner of the Far East Feast Throwdown!

Along with the certificates, Bigabyte gives out prizes ... or at least did ... or at least he said he was going to. I think he did give out a couple of books and maybe even some Foil Hat Rub, but that might only be a rumor. Bigabyte is kind of like Santa Claus, only crabbier.

I'm sure the new management will keep up these traditions too.

Sometimes, if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself.

Exactly. Or mod. We can't do either yet else this coup attempt would have been scrubbed.

Nope, and to top it off, one of our lap tops decided it didn't want to boot Windows anymore - it's the one with all of our pics and we didn't back it up since it's fairly new...and the other laptop is having issues with IE to boot so we had to change to Firefox this morning. Issues, issues and more issues...

Don't forget the fact that my mom's been in the hospital for 2 weeks. And is now in ICU Isolation in MS, thereby causing tons of extra stress!

Really sorry about your mom, Michele. That is a horrible situation to be in and our hearts go out to all of you. Don't worry about us. I think we know the routine and someone can fill in and do the posts as necessary if they see they aren't getting done. This should be the last of your worries. Now if only one of the mods would come by and make this a sticky we'd be all set.

You can't be an art major. You use windoze. Either that, or working for the gubment really messed you up. Get a Mac.
