We haven’t been in the western ‘burbs for a few years. I am planning on visiting South Moon BBQ in Montgomery this weekend to see what they can offer. Any suggestions are welcome!

Brand new place in Romeoville, haven't tried it yet, though. https://www.facebook.com/DWsmokehouse/ And no idea if it can handle the group size.

Thanks! I'll check it out. We have an in with the owners at South Moon through Brother Hungry Haus, and it is usually easier to get a good deal if we know folks, but I am open to suggestions. I want to make a decision before the holidays, however.

Cool! Look at South Moon BBQ in Montgomery, IL to see what the drive will be like. That's not guaranteed, but it would probably be worst case as far as your drive.

Firewater BBQ in Lombard or Cresthill? I have been to the Lombard location. BBQ was really good. Space is kind of small though. Don't know about Cresthill.

Yeah, Lombard would be a tight fit since we've had 60+ guys the last three years. I thought about Steamboat in Wheaton, but it is too small as well.
