Default SS barrels were a bust.....

I finally got with the guy that said he had stainless steel barrels. They are steel. They are silver. They are barrels and there are 14 of them. However they are not stainless steel. I guess the old adage,"If it sounds to good to be true,it probably is." is true here.
The good news is, they did contain food grade lube and they are in excellent condition. I also have the exclusive right to have and take as many as I need. So, if any of you brethren are in the west central area of Illinois and are in need of a barrel, feel free to contact me.

Sounds like they are still a score. I was looking at prices for stainless steel barrels and they can run over 400 bucks per. Even though they are steel, it doesn't matter. They will still make for a great UDS. If I lived closer I'd be asking you for one. Hope some Brethren take you up on the offer.

I was perfectly happy with forgetting all about that thread and you went and ruined it.

Still a good score on barrels.

I would be interested in a couple of those. Do they have removeable lids? To bad on the stainless thing regular steel is easier for the "non" welder to weld.
