Got my tank cut open, going to work on relocating my axle on my trailer tomorrow
MORE PICS TO COME.

Amateur welds my big ole butt! That stuff looks great.

Last year i bought a welder and a propane tank the same day, (the only thing i ever welded is the smoker i built last year, sold it and building another, bigger and badder) lol

this is what i got done today,

for some reason i wanted to shorten the tank by 10", it was more trouble than it was worth

For what it is worth, you may want to check for someone who does sand blasting in your area. I had mine blasted last year for $75! best money I ever spent and, I didnt have to deal with all the sander dust!

great welds, got your wire speed and amps about perfect id say, keep the pics coming

I did not get as much done as i intended to this weekend:mmph:
here is todays progress, hinges made and attached, doors cut, grinder caught on fire (thank God for horrible freights 90 day return policy).

tomorrow i plan to attach banding to doors, i like the look of it being on the inside, is there any pros and cons from being on the inside verses the outside?any tips and tricks would be helpful.

i got the firebox welded on this weekend, hopefully i will get the trailer axle moved back, and mounted to the trailer.

i noticed they the doors warped when they were cut, the one that warped "out" is almost the thickness of the tank, is there any way to fix this.IMG00349-20120603-1840.jpg
